Holt Public Schools is located roughly 10 miles south of Lansing. The school district contains the area of Holt and the village of Dimondale.

The district is comprised of 13 buildings; 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 junior high school, 1 senior high school, an adult education / central high school, a service & support building, and an education center.
